If you like your baseball up-close and personal and you plan on seeing a Major League Baseball game, you must stay at the Marriott City Centre Hotel. The hotel was built into the Rogers Centre (formerly SkyDome), North America's first stadium with a motorized, fully retractable roof and home to the Toronto Blue Jays. Of the hotel's 348 rooms, 70 feature large opening windows that overlook the playing field at Rogers Centre, giving guests a bird's eye view of the game or concert taking place below. An added bonus is that this hotel allows your furry companions to enjoy the game as well. Pets are allowed for a charge of $50. Walk your dog around the Skydome. Keep your own health up with the attached gym and indoor pool. Two must-see Toronto attractions, the CN Tower and St. John Roundhouse/Steamwhistle Brewery are located just steps from the hotel.

- Best forPet-Friendly HotelsBecause:The Marriott City Centre has always been baseball friendly, but it is nice to know that it is pet-friendly as well.
- Best forFamily-Friendly HotelsBecause:Be the coolest parents ever when you book a vacation within a baseball field. Look for weekend packages that include a ball game (and Playstation).
- Best forHotels near Rogers CentreBecause:The Renaissance was built right into the Rogers Centre. We don't see how you could get any closer, other than sleeping on the field.
